Do you know the purpose for which you were created? It is that we might know and be in relationship with God. It should be the aim of our lives to know God. In His prayer with His disciples in the upper room, Jesus prayed, “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:3, NASB95) Knowing God should bring us more joy, delight and contentment than anything else. How many of us can say that we truly know God? Many of us may know a great deal about God, but do we know God?
