How Can I Be Right With God?
While all of us face life's problems with relationships, health, finances, and tragedy, there is one common issue: how each of us can get into a right relationship with God. Facts we must come to terms with are that God is real (“I am God, and there is no other”—Isaiah 45:22), He is Sovereign (“Whatever the Lord pleases, He does”—Psalm 135:6, NASB95), and we will all stand before Him one day (“So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God”—Romans 14:12, NASB95). How can we feel at peace with God? The Law taught that a right relationship with God was maintained by faithfully keeping all the laws; however, “whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all” (James 2:10, NASB95). Paul wrote of the obstacle that lies before us—Our Sin—and the provision which God has made for us—His Own Son’s Righteousness.
