He Must Increase, But I Must Decrease
Peter commanded the saints of Asia Minor to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). And Paul wrote to the Philippians and told them that he wanted to know Christ "and the power of His resurrection
and the fellowship of His sufferings" (Philippians 3:10).
It is through us that God is spreading the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus Christ everywhere (2 Corithians 2:14). As Christ continues to increase in our lives, our light shines ever brighter in this dark world as we continue to do good - these good works cause people to glorify God.
