Working Out Our Faith In Our Families – Part Two
The Bible definition of family goes all the way back to Genesis, where God gave Adam a wife whom he called Eve and told them to ‘be fruitful and multiply’ (Genesis 1:28).
God has always had a plan for marriage and the home which when put into practice results in marriages and homes where peace and love abide.
Two weeks ago we looked at what Paul wrote in Colossians 3:18-19 concerning the way husbands and wives are to respond to each other in godly marriages.
This morning I would like to share with you part two of this lesson from Colossians 3:20-21 on how children and parents relate to each other.
I firmly believe that if we put these commands into practice, our marriages and our homes will shine as a beacon point other couples and homes to Christ.
