You and I live in a world that admires ambition. We praise those who take initiative and strive to excel and those who are eager to improve their lot in life. How often have you heard someone else being described as a person who is filled with ambition? Lacking ambition?

Today, I would like for us to take a closer look at a passage of Scripture where we find Jesus responding to an attitude of selfish ambition in two of His closest disciples.
