God has placed a choice before us. a. We may attempt to use Him for our own selfish purposes — a choice in which we will ultimately fail. b. Or, we can seek to be used by God — a choice which will result in His glory and our eternal salvation. Some years ago I ran across a person’s personal blog in which the individual had put this statement concerning her life, “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me.’” How about you, when you stand before our Lord at the last day, what do you most desire? Is it to have been used by Him to the fullest extent possible to accomplish His will.
