Recently, in our Wednesday evening Bible study, we have looked that the question, “Who is Jesus?” Today, I would like for us to examine a somewhat different question, but one…
We are God's special people because we are people who belong to the Lord, God considers us His special people, His children and pilgrims here who are longing for their…
Our story is about our helplessness before we were saved by God's grace and our salvation and life's purpose after we obeyed Him. Before Christ our condition was "bad news"…
History indicates the church in Ephesus died sometime in the second century A.D. It had been a church with such a rich history — some very prominent men spent significant…
Where are you in your life at this moment in time? Are you a Christian? Does “the word of Christ richly dwell within you?” (Colossians 3:16). Does God’s Spirit dwell within you? (Romans 8:9) Are you living a life that honors Him? Are you a part of the army of God? He calls each of us to a life that is abundant and eternal. Will you come to Him in obedient faith, turning from the sin in your life, confessing Christ as your Lord and Savior, and being buried with Him in baptism, so that your sins may be washed away today?
The marks of the first Spirit-filled community are all concerned with the church’s relationships. The challenge for each of us this year is that we become more like these first Christians by; Submitting ourselves to the teaching and authority of God’s Word, Loving one another, even as our Lord has loved us (John 13:34)
Are you a person who is sick and tired of sin in your life — the lies, the despair, the guilt and hurt? Do you want to live a transformed life with a renewed mind and true purpose? Perhaps you are a Christian, but you have been living a lie, and you are tired of it. You want to be real. You want to live a zealous, productive and blessed life as someone who has been saved from his or her sins. What should you do?
Each of us makes a choice to either to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives or to completely abandon that purpose and plot our own course.
Heaven will surely be worth all the affliction and hardship you experience here while serving our Lord. If you haven’t submitted your life to Him in obedient faith, why not do so today?
