God, saw us when we were as far away from Him as one could get. And He loved us with a love so great that He acted out of compassion. And to make us alive with His Son, raising us from our spiritual death and seating us in His presence. Such grace demands a response. Can you see now why John Newton called it Amazing Grace? And why Paul speaks of it as the "immeasurable riches of His Grace"?
