Consider for just a moment the various people who have crossed your path throughout your lifetime.

Is there a person who stands out in your mind as having had a positive influence upon your life more than any other?

Was it a parent? A teacher? A coach? An employer? A co-worker? A friend?

Are there things in your life that you do to this day because of their influence in your life?

Are you the only one or are there others who were influenced in the same way by that person?

In 1 Thessalonians 1:6-10, Paul makes us aware of the power which the Gospel has to change lives.

Those lives then influence the lives of those around them, which also influence more lives.
