The Battle David Couldn’t Win
As we saw in the the last lesson, David slew the Philistine giant known as Goliath, a man almost twice his size. This encounter brought David great fame, but little did he know what in killing this giant created another one which would be far more difficult to overcome.
The second giant was King Saul himself, actually jealousy, because David's popularity caused Saul to become jealous of the young man from Bethlehem.
In this lesson, let's look at the years which led up to Saul's demise and David's becoming the king of Israel.
