Seeking God’s Will In Christ
God has given us the opportunity to make a difference in our community. That difference starts with who we are — how do we treat one another. In 1 Thessalonians 5:12-18, the apostle Paul concludes his first letter to the Christians in the city of Thessalonica with instructions about how we are to treat one another within our church body. Treat those outside of the body of Christ. And to live out our faith. All of this is at the heart of what it means to be the hands of Jesus here in Waverly and beyond. As we think these things this morning let’s take these words of Paul to heart and strive to be the kind of people whose lamp shines ever brighter as we point others to our Savior.
