Life is very fragile.

We are made aware of this fact every day of our lives:
a. Hurricanes and earthquakes
b. Fires and floods
c. Tornadoes and now virus.

In our youth we think we are invincible, but as we age we learn just how susceptible to various things we truly are.
a. Nature itself can threaten us.
b. Satan is constantly stalking us.
c. Death stands before us.

From a very young age we proclaim our own self-sufficiency, “I do it myself”. As we grow older, we realize just how much we depend upon others. The anonymous psalmist of the 121st psalm addresses these very issues.
