Healed! Through the Power of His Name
One of the most powerful portraits of the early Christian community in Jerusalem, which we know as the church, is given in Acts 2. Having just received the forgiveness of sins and the Holy Spirit, these new believers were conscientious in their; Learning from the apostles, Worship of God, Care for one another, and Witness to those yet outside their fellowship. There was a deep sense of reverence for what God was doing. Because of this there was rapid growth. It is against this backdrop that our story today takes place.
