Can a dead faith save? No, a living faith does. When we approach the word of God through a prejudice paradigm and we filter everything through our colander of understanding. We cull everything that doesn't fit what we already believe. We cull something from the Word of God and we don't like it. The great challenge for us is to read and reread the word of God and allow God to speak to us.
