There are many things which we as parents and grandparents seek to teach our children and grandchildren. Those coming up behind us learn not only from what we verbally teach them, but also what we teach through our example. If the things which we say to and about others is not considerate or helpful then our children will adopt those behaviors as well. Our words have the power to help and heal, or hurt and destroy.
