A Diamond in the Rough
When reading through Scripture we find some diamonds in the rough—“Someone or something with potential or talent but lacking training or polish. This phrase refers to the fact that diamonds found in nature are rough and uneven. They must be cut and polished to bring out their true beauty.”
How much time and how many resources will it take for the next diamond in the rough to become the diamond God knows it to be?
We may never know the true value of a diamond in the rough unless we work with it.
What priceless gem does God have, who with proper training and polish can be the next great leader of God’s people?
