The Glory of My King
When Moses came down from the mountain his face was shining so vibrantly that the children of Israel could not look at his face; To interact with people Moses had to wear a veil.
The term “glory” points out the presence of God, the glorious distinction of God, the beauty or magnificence of God.
To have experienced the mountain high excitement of receiving the Ten
Commandments, the valley depth of discouraging news that Israel worshiped an idol, then be blessed with God’s presence for finding favor with God and be allowed to see some of the glory of God, leaves the impression that “you’d just have to be there” to understand the significance of the moment.
