Devoted to One Another
Family is important.
Even as I say this I realize that some families are closer knit than other families.
Some families are more loving toward one another and more expressive of that love in the form of hugs given and words spoken.
Others tend to be more distant from one another.
Each of us will interpret the verse before us through the lenses we use to view the family in which we grew up.
As Paul writes this short statement, he wants us to focus upon the traits of a healthy family, because he compare s God’s church to such a family.
My goal this morning is for us to see this from Paul’s and ultimately, God’s viewpoint, and in so doing to grow more and more into a church family which lives this way.
