No One Has Taken It Away From Me
While there may be a few who know they are about to be arrested, almost none has control of the time, place or circumstances involving their arrest.
Those who have the power to prevent their arrest, usually do so.
Those who are innocent usually protest or at least question their arrest.
I would like for you to look closely with me at the arrest of our Lord almost 2,000 years ago there at the Garden of Gethsemane.
As we shall see, none of these prove true with Him, which begs the question. Why?
It is our answer to that one question which touches each of our lives this morning.
Before we look at Mark’s account of Jesus’ arrest, along with the other gospel writers’ account of the same event, I would like to share with you something which Jesus had said a short while before this fateful evening.
