King David thanks the Lord for all the blessings of life. He leads Israel in a prayer of thanksgiving as they prepare to build the Temple and appoint Solomon as their new king. David's prayer teaches about the importance of Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has a wonderful gathering planned with friends and family for Thanksgiving. I realize that some are not able to do what they would like most on this coming day Thanksgiving. I do believe that we all have something to be thankful for and that is the reason for our observance of this holiday. I am compelled to ask, for what am I thankful? As you ask yourself the question, "what am I thankful for?" Read Titus 2:11-15.
