Why I Am Thankful For This Church
And in 1 Corinthians 12:27, Paul also wrote, “Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.”
When you and I think of the Church in this way, it is much easier to be thankful for a living assembly of God’s people than for a physical building which has no life in or of itself.
When Paul wrote to the church in Colosse, he was writing to a body of believers he had never met.
The church had most likely begun as a result of the preaching of Epaphras, a man who perhaps had heard Paul during the two years he had spent in
Ephesus preaching the Word of God.
