Take Care How You Walk
When you read about the reigns of the Old Testament kings, there is an often repeated phrase: “he walked in the ways of his father . . .” More often than not, these words are spoken in a negative connotation. However, David was a king who left such indelible impressions with his footsteps that others behind him were challenged to walk as he walked.
Have you ever considered the pathway and steps that your father walked? If so, you found either the steps of life to sustain you or the disappointments of life that disillusion you. I want to be a man that my children, and grandchildren can always look up to. In order to be a man worthy enough for our children to “walk in the ways of their father,” we as fathers need to pay attention to our steps in life.
