Honor is a word that we don’t seem to hear as much any more.

What does it mean?

From a Biblical standpoint the word honor means “esteem, value or great respect.”

When we honor someone, we . . .
a. Regard or treat them with respect and admiration.
b. Show admiration for that person in a public way.

I believe that many of the problems we see in our world today stem from the fact that people have either forgotten or no longer choose to show honor toward others.

We, as God’s people, need now, as much as ever, to rebuild a culture of honor.
