Much in our society has changed since we have gone from being an agrarian based society to a technologically based one.One of those changes is that we have become slaves of time. Whether it is the watches we wear or the cell phones we carry, we work to keep careful track of time: a. Time to get up, be at work, leave work. b. Time for school, the bus, class to start or end. c. Time for practice, game, bed. d. We complain if our package doesn’t arrive on time, if our flight schedule is delayed or if the sermon goes too long. We have become a society of clock watchers who want to know the time. But it is more important to know God’s time — especially the present time — the moment of opportunity and decision.
