Lazarus
In the Book of John we are introduced to many interesting people, including Lazarus of Bethany. The history of Lazarus could be compared to the history of all who have passed from death (in sin) into life (in Christ). In the history of Lazarus there was sickness, death, life, freedom, communion, teaching, and suffering. To Lazarus' sister Martha, Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies." (John 11:25)
