Justification is the process by which a person is declared righteous in the sight of God. We need justification because our God is righteous and just and we stand guilty before Him because of our sins. Our justification is God's gift to us based upon the death and resurrection of His Son.

It is made available to us through our Lord's obedience to His Father's will and our faith in Christ and baptism in His blood.

As a result of justification we have peace with God, the forgiveness of sins, freedom from sin's condemnation and domination in our lives and ultimately we are declared righteous by God.
