Of the twelve men who Jesus chose to be His apostles, John stand out for a particular characteristic - love. He is often referred to as "the apostle of love." But John wasn't always this way. As a matter of fact, the gospels paint a very different picture of this man and his brother James initially. What made the difference? What brought about the change into his life?

I would like for us to spend our time getting to this apostle in order to learn not only how Christ makes a difference in our lives, but how we can make a difference in others.
