In the Potter’s Hands
The question is—Are You Allowing God To Mold You And Shape You? Notice what He says…
"Arise and go down to the Potter’s house…and there I will cause you to hear My words: So Jeremiah, the prophet, goes down and sees the Potter making something on the wheel....And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it."
As we read in verses 3 and 4, when Jeremiah arrives at the potter’s house, he witnessed the potter making a vessel that was “marred” (one with a flaw or defect). The potter realizing what had happened decided to start all over so he took the clay and reshaped it until it pleased him. No matter what comes our way, it is good to know, that as children of God, we are still in the hands of God. We all face troubles (chances are you are either having trouble, just getting over trouble or about to have trouble) in our lives.
