I Need to Change the Way I Think
Some of you may remember a quote that was said by Zig Ziglar. " We all need a daily check up from the neck up to avoid stinkin 'thinkin' which ultimately leads to a hardening of the attitudes." Zig had many quotes about the effect of our attitude upon our daily lives as well as where we go in life. In Romans, Paul commands that we be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Paul lets us see that any service we may render must involve three things: 1.) The way we think about ourselves. 2.) The way we think about each other. 3.) The way we think about our gifts and the use of them. God calls upon each of us to change the way
we think. If we make excuses for not using our gifts we are in danger of experiencing the same condemnation as the slave who received the one talent in Jesus'
parable.
