What must Christians do when opinions collide? Paul said that those who are strong in faith must not look down in contempt at those who are weak in faith. Likewise, those who are weak in faith must not judge those who are strong in faith. The overriding principle — “Accept one another.” Now, he continues this discussion with the question — “How must those who are strong in faith treat a weaker brother?” It is not just about attitude. What we do in practice is equally important. Today, as we think about how to be our Lord’s church, I would like for us to consider what Paul has to say on this topic.
