God’s Motivation For Serving Him and Others
Our story is about our helplessness before we were saved by God's grace and our salvation and life's purpose after we obeyed Him.
Before Christ our condition was "bad news" (Ephesians 2:1-3). We lived like worldly lost people. We were ruled by Satan, fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. But then something happened. Something GOOD happened (Ephesians 2:4-7). God who is rich in mercy sent Christ to this world. Christ did for us what we could never ever do for ourselves. Now we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-10)! God's motivation for our serving Him comes in three parts.
