Self-examinations to a Christian is a determination of progress being made as God expects. God wants us to see what we need to work on and change. God has given us the plumb line of Jesus Christ to measure ourselves against. Jesus is the perfect standard of comparison for holiness. God's Word attests that self-examination is essential to make progress in the Christian life.
