If we have hope, we can endure the loss of our health, our finances, our careers, even our loved ones.

We are able to suffer through pain, rejection, isolation, persecution and abuse with unbroken spirits and unbowed heads, if we have hope.

Paul said that one thing which enables us to have hope is “the encouragement (comfort) of the Scriptures.”

This is why he calls upon us to “encourage one another,” because without such encouragement, we lose hope.

Today, lets look at encouragement from God’s perspective and seek to learn how we can be better at encouraging one another.
