Christians
The term "Christian" comes from the Greek word CHRISTIANOS (khris-tee-an-os'). "Christian" appears only three times in Scripture, with all occurrences being in the New Testament (Acts 11:26; 26:28; 1 Peter 4:16). In an article written on christiancourier.com titled "Who Is a Christian?", a compelling case is made for the name Christian "being divinely imposed, and thus a name to be worn with honor and dignity."
