Alone In The Garden
I would like for us to consider the depth of love and sacrifice that went into our salvation.
One of the places that is made most evident is in the Garden of Gethsemane. It is here that the humanity of Jesus is made painfully clear:
a. His distress and anguish of soul.
b. His tearful pleading with His Father.
c. His feeling of abandonment by those closest to Him.
Let's walk to Gethsemane and see Immanuel, the Son of God, face down on the ground pleading with His Father for another way to save us.
