Worship
The Bible describes the attempt of various people to worship God. Cain and Able brought worship to God and from them we learn that God expects the worshiper to have faith and to worship as He directs (Genesis 4:3-5; Hebrews 11:4-5).
In worship we come before God with awe of who He is, what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do according to His promises. We are told by God what is pleasing to Him when we come before Him with our praise. He gave us a model to follow for church worship and other aspects of church life in our New Testament.
For our study we want to examine the Scriptures to discover worship. This study will survey what worship is, different types of worship mentioned in the Bible, a test for finding true worship, and acts that are acceptable in worship.
