The story of Blind Bartimaeus is an example of how men are saved from sin. He was poor and blind, be he wanted to be delivered from darkness. He believed in Jesus as the Savior. He cried out for mercy. He persisted in spite of the rebukes of many. He cast aside all hindrances. He heard the call of Jesus. He obeyed the Lord's call. He confessed the name of Jesus. He was saved. He followed Jesus and glorified Him.
