Do Not Be Afraid
ON Tuesday, November 8, 1932, three years into the Great Depression, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected the 32nd President of the United States. Very few
remember anything President Roosevelt said in his speech at his inauguration on March 4, 1933. There is one line which stands out, "the only thing we have
to fear is fear itself..."
Does the concept of sharing the good news frighten you, do you fear rejection from family, friends, neighbors and co-workers that you hold in high esteem?
I pray that the promises of God, the presence of God's people and the perfection of God's love in your life will strengthen your heart and enable you to accomplish His work throughout the rest of your life, whether it be here in Waverly or wherever He may send you.
