Making Peace With God
In the Bible, the word peace is used to translate; shalom (Hebrew) which is completeness, soundness, welfare, peace. And eirene (Greek) that often refers to the inner tranquility and poise of the Christian whose trust is in God through Christ.
However, not everyone enjoys peace. The sins of the wicked separates one from God. And Sinful conduct destroys friendships and familial relationships. Also, sin prevents true peace of mind. The wicked are in dire need for peace.
God offers perfect peace. He offers peace like a river. And He is willing to fill us with peace and to give us peace always, in every way. Wonderful is the peace that only God can provide.
