If we were to have the heart of a giver then our giving must have certain qualities about it.

What is God truly concerned with when it comes to our giving? Our giving must be sacrificial. It must have a certain recklessness to it. It also must be from a loving heart. It must issue from the belief that God can do great things with our gift no matter how small.

Stop for a minute and consider how many lives down through the centuries have been challenged by the widow’s example of giving everything that she had. How can you add to her legacy? What is it that God really wants from you? Are you willing to give it?
