We have covered a lot of territory over the three weeks that we have focused on

God’s qualifications for deacons. But I believe it is of the utmost importance. We live in a sinful world and Satan is constantly seeking to destroy those who profess Christ’s name. But God, in His perfect wisdom, has given us a community of  families — the local church — to help keep us pure from cultural defilement.  A local church that is alive and functioning properly can help many families — perhaps even hundreds of families. For this reason we need godly men who are willing to take up the mantle of deacon and serve this church faithfully before God.
