We are never too old or too wise to fail God.  “No matter how close we are to God and how many answers we have had to prayer, no matter how much God has used us, we can still, in a moment of weakness, sin against God.”  We can still blow it in the homestretch. This is why the apostle warned the Corinthians — and us as well: “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.” (1Corinthians 10:12, NASB95)
