How is your heart today? If you are thinking of your physical heart; Some of you might say, not so good, I’ve had some bypass surgery and they tell me that my heart is nowt as strong as it used to be. Others may say, my heart is young and healthy. There is nothing wrong with my heart. But what if I was to say that I was speaking about your spiritual heart. What in Scripture is considered to be the “center of mental activity” and thus “the basis of our actions?”

All too often we look for ways to avoid committing our hearts to God. We look for substitutes which we think will please Him, but which he does not seek of want. God’s word has a great deal to say about this heart. There is an important truth born out in the passages. “God wants your heart; He wants all of it.”
