If you had one final desire (wish) for this congregation, what would it be? I am sure that all of us have dreams for this congregation, dreams which have not yet materialized.

If you were to share that dream or desire with the rest of us here today, what would it be?

a. Baptize more people.

b. Larger Bible school enrollment.

c. Greater impact on our community.

All of these dreams are outward dreams — Paul had an inward one (Read Philippians 2:1-4 again)

a. This was Paul’s dream for the congregation at Philippi.

b. How many of us have ever heard this voiced here.

I must admit, until I studied these words of Paul, I had not really thought about how much of a difference it would make, not only in the life of this congregation, but in the life of any congregation of the Lord’s people.

As we study it this morning, let’s consider how each one of us can become more of what Paul is describing here.
