All of us at some time have gotten things tangled up. Ever tried to untangle and extension cord or fishing line? Sometimes it is easier to just cut the line and start over. That is the way it is with sin. Satan does it so well that you don’t know how to get out of the mess that you are in. You are at a loss. The answer is to cut it loose and let it go. “…let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us…” (Hebrews 12:1 NASB). Satan knows that he does this to us. He does it so well that you don’t know how to get out of the mess that you are in. You are at a loss. The answer is to cut it loose and let it go. This is what Jesus does for you. Are you finding that you are tangled up in sin? Are you willing to acknowledge that Jesus is Lord and Savior? If you are willing, He is waiting to help you untangle those bad habits.
