This time of the year is often referred to as “the cold and flu season.”

Imagine someone who is . . .

a. struggling with a high temperature.

b. suffering from body aches or possibly chills.

c. having trouble keeping any food on their stomach.

What would you think if, in the midst of all this, you heard this person say, “As soon as I fell better, I will go to the doctor”?  Your response might be something like, “That is crazy! The time to go see the doctor is not when you are well, it is right now!” Now, imagine someone who is lost in sin saying, “As soon as I can get control of this sin in my life, and start living as I should, I’m going to become a Christian.”
