A successful family is not necessarily a family that has great wealth, a family that spend long hours trying to gain such wealth, or a family that meets the criterion society sets forth as evidence of a successful family. Solomon built the house of God and shared with us how to build a house for God (Psalm 127).

As we take aim at a successful family, let’s also consider our spiritual family.

Are we prepared for the raising of children?

Have we prayed for wisdom?

Are we willing to accept that the building of a godly family takes time?

What are we doing to celebrate what God has done with us?

A successful family has the Lord as its foundation and is protected by Him.
