Revenge is a lose-lose proposition. It is God who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay” (Romans 12:19). We must never take our own revenge. Trust God to handle all inequities. Instead we must learn to forgive those who have hurt us, “Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:28).  We are not in control of our lives, only God is. It is in Him that we “live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). Thank God for the good which comes into your life. He is the one “from whom all blessings flow.”
