God wants to give you a new name, but first you have to come to terms with your past. He can’t change you until you recognize the sinful, lost state you are presently in. Will you humble yourself in God’s presence and confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?  Will you turn from your past in repentance and seek Him with your whole heart?

None of us was born a Christian, nor were we born lovers of God. Both of these are things which happened sometime later in our lives.  At sometime we made a conscious decision to turn from the attractions of this world and Satan’s snares to God in obedient faith.  In so doing, we put on Christ and became lovers of God.  At that point we were radically changed from the inside out — our whole life changed. But what brought about the change?
