As we consider our attitude we may find that improvements need to be made. The key to replacing an improper attitude is the same key to improving a proper attitude. The key is progress. We are all in the process of growing and progressing.
Paul wrote on progress in Philippians.
“Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:12)
As we look to the future let us look at the four areas that we might need to work on.
- Who do I need to forgive?
- Is my love unconditional or do I place conditions on people to earn or to keep my love?
- Do I have a servant’s heart for my family?
- Do I have an attitude of gratitude, thanking God even during difficult circumstances?
